Kindergarten Registration for the 2025-2026 school year is opened!
Welcome to Cohasset Public Schools
Dear Cohasset Kindergarten Families,
At the School Committee Meeting on March 31, 2025, the committee voted to reinstate the full-day kindergarten tuition. As such, full-day kindergarten will return to its former status as a family-subsidized program, at a cost of $3,000 per student per year.
Full-day kindergarten classes are held during the regular school hours of 9:10 AM to 3:30 PM. Students will eat lunch at school and, if eligible for transportation, will be transported on regular school buses.
Half-day kindergarten is provided to all families at no cost. Half-day kindergarten runs from 9:10 - 12:00. Half-day kindergarten students will have full access to the Massachusetts State Standards for Kindergarten during their morning session.
In order to prepare for next year we kindly ask that you let us know whether your child will be attending full day or half day kindergarten by filling out this form by May 16, 2025.
Kindergarten tuition can be paid in full or on the following schedule: the first $1,500 payment is due on June 2, 2025; the second payment of $1,500 is due on August 1, 2025. Families who are seeking assistance for the full-day kindergarten tuition, or are interested in discussing a payment plan, should reach out to Jerilyn Ballard in the CPS Business Office. TERMS & CONDITIONS
Payment of Tuition: Tuition may be paid by check or online at MySchoolBucks.com. Checks shall be made payable to the “Town of Cohasset” and sent to Attn: Business Office, Cohasset Public Schools, 143 Pond Street, Cohasset, MA 02025. Parents will be assessed a late fee of $25.00 (if later than 30 days) and a separate additional fee of $25.00 per non-sufficient funds (NSF) item for checks or credit card payment rejection (unless caused by district error).
Refunds: There are no refunds for missed classes due to illness, vacations, field trips, holidays, calamity days or any other time your child does not attend classes. Should a need arise for a refund, all requests for refunds must be made in writing to Jeri Ballard in the CPS Business Office. Refunds will be reviewed on an individual basis and processed at the end of the school year. Refunds will be made on a pro rata basis.

- Visit https://ma-cohasset.myfollett.com/
- Login with your existing Aspen Username and Password
- Click "Initiate" under "Start a New Student Registration"
If you are brand new to Cohasset and do not have an Aspen account
- To begin, visit https://ma-cohasset.myfollett.com/
- You must setup your account in Aspen. Please watch the video below for instructions on how to setup your account. Once your account is setup, log into Aspen and begin the registration process.

- The CPS residency policy does not apply to students experiencing homelessness. Please contact our District's McKinney-Vento Liaison Michael Stapleton at mstapleton@cohassetk12.org for assistance regarding the enrollment process for homeless students.
- Legal Birth Certificate (hospital birth certificate is not a legal copy)
- Proof of Residence (see Residency Verification form for required documentation)
- Current physical examination and immunization history (including a lead test and record of a vision screening completed by your child's physician). If your child's immunizations are not up to date, please contact your child's physician immediately for an appointment.
- Copy of Custody Agreement (If Applicable)
