Kindergarten Registration 2026-2027
Welcome to kindergarten at Cohasset Public Schools! We are so excited to partner with you as your child begins this special and important educational journey at Osgood Elementary School.
Our half-day kindergarten program is offered at no cost and provides students with full access to all of the Massachusetts State Kindergarten Standards curriculum. Half-day kindergarten runs from 9:10 AM - 12:10 PM
For families who choose the full-day option tuition is as follows:
Full day kindergarten tuition for the 2026-2027 school year is $3,000 per student. A $500 deposit is due at the time of registration. The remaining balance may be paid using one of the following options:

Full-day kindergarten classes are held during the regular school hours of 9:10 AM to 3:30 PM. Students will eat lunch at school and, if eligible for transportation, will be transported on regular school buses.
Families who are seeking additional assistance for the full-day kindergarten tuition beyond the plans offered above, should reach out to Jerilyn Ballard in the CPS Business Office. Terms & Conditions
Payment of Tuition: Tuition may be paid by check or online at UniPay. Checks shall be made payable to the “Town of Cohasset” and sent to Attn: Business Office, Cohasset Public Schools, 143 Pond Street, Cohasset, MA 02025. Parents will be assessed a late fee of $25.00 (if later than 30 days) and a separate additional fee of $25.00 per non-sufficient funds (NSF) item for checks or credit card payment rejection (unless caused by district error).
Refunds: There are no refunds for missed classes due to illness, vacations, field trips, holidays, calamity days or any other time your child does not attend classes. Should a need arise for a refund, all requests for refunds must be made in writing to Jeri Ballard in the CPS Business Office. Refunds will be reviewed on an individual basis and processed at the end of the school year. Refunds will be made on a pro rata basis.
