UniPay
We are transitioning to a new online payment platform, UniPay, for most school-related payments. Many families may already have a UniPay account, as it is used for fee payments through the town.
Please Note: MySchoolBucks will still be used exclusively for lunch accounts, as it is directly integrated with Mosaic, our cafeteria payment system.
How to Use UniPay for Cohasset Public Schools
- Go to the UniPay website
Visit the UniPay platform -------> UniPay
- Search for “Cohasset Public Schools”
In the search bar on UniPay’s payment center, type Cohasset Public Schools and select it from the list
- Select the appropriate fee or program
Once on the CPS UniPay page, choose the item you’re paying for—such as kindergarten tuition, activity fees, or athletic fees.
- Set up payment
- Pay by electronic check (ACH) or credit/debit card.
- ACH often has a low flat fee (~$0.50), while credit card transactions include a convenience fee charged by the provider.
- Complete the checkout process
- For one-time payments, simply enter billing details and submit.
- If available, set up recurring payments (autopay) for tuition or ongoing fees
- Save confirmation
Copy the confirmation number or save the receipt email. This will verify your payment.
Quick Tips
- No account needed for one-time payments.
- Registering gives you the ability to save payment info, view history, and set up recurring payments.
- Keep your confirmation number/receipt—schools may check this.
- Expect a small service fee: ACH (~$0.50) or credit card convenience charges
If you encounter any issues—such as navigation confusion, missing payment items, or fee concerns—you can:
- Contact UniPay support at support@unipayteam.com
- Reach out to the CPS Business Office at jballard@cohassetk12.org or 781‑383‑6108 for school-specific help.
Example: Paying Kindergarten Tuition
- Log into UniPay → Search “Cohasset Public Schools” → Choose Kindergarten Tuition → Enter amount → Select ACH or card → Submit → Save receipt.
We appreciate your cooperation as we make this switch to provide a more cost-effective solution for our school community.
