Safe Harbors Flyers

Below are events that the Safe Harbor Cohasset Coalition will be hosting during the week of September 15th through the 21st: 

Tuesday, September 17th – The Cohasset Youth Ambassador (CYA) Program will be holding its first official meeting of the 2019-2020 school-year at the Paul Pratt Memorial Library.  The Youth Ambassador Program is for all 7th-12th graders, and teaches students valuable life skills that will help them succeed and allow them to make a difference in the community.  Click here to view flyer

Wednesday, September 18th - The first session of SHCC’s new Parent Coffee Hour will be held at 2nd Congregational Church starting at 9:30am.  This monthly event, which is an extension of the Guiding Good Choices (GGC) parent workshop, will give parents a chance to discuss a wide-range of issues that are currently affecting their child(ren).  Drop-ins welcome! Friday, September 20th – SHCC will be teaming up with 2nd Congregational Church to kick-off our monthly Movie Night, from 6:45-9:15pm, starting with the 1980s classic, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.  This event is geared towards 7th-12th graders, and includes FREE admission and FREE popcorn! Saturday, September 21st – Safe Harbor will be teaming up with the Cohasset Recreation Department and Cohasset Public Schools for our semi-annual Tailgate Party and Cornhole Tournament from noon-4pm, at the back field of Cohasset High.  This event takes place on the same day as three Skipper home games including the boys Varsity Football team’s Homecoming game vs. Nantucket at 2pm.  SHCC will be providing FREE hot dogs, burgers, chips, iced tea, and water to any CPS student that visits the tent.  Beginning at 1pm there will also be a community Cornhole Tournament.  Registration is $20 per team (2 players), and players can either register online or sign-up in-person on the day of the event.
