Greetings Cohasset Families,

Just a reminder that tomorrow, Monday, April 5, 2021, all middle school students will be attending school full in-person, five days a week (in-person lunch included). The school day will begin at 8:15AM and will end at 2:40PM. Earl dismissal on April 9 will take place at 12:30PM.

High school students are also coming back for full in-person learning, five days a week, in the following phased format:

  • Tomorrow, Monday, April 5 through April 16, all students will attend school full in-person, five days a week, beginning at 8:30AM with dismissal taking place at 12:45PM (with the exception of our half day on Friday, April 9, where we will observe a 12:30PM dismissal). High school students will eat lunch at home (grab-and-go will be available) and join their last period class from home.

  • Beginning April 26, 2021 (after April break), high school students will attend school full in-person, five days a week, with in-person lunch included, School days will begin at 8:30AM with dismissal taking place at 2:40PM.

Due to the increased traffic, it is important that we adhere to the following rules regarding drop off and pick up:

Drop-Off:

  • Bus drop-off will be at 8:15AM for both schools and will take place in the middle school driveway. High school students who are taking the bus and entering the building at 8:15AM will be supervised until their classes begin.
  • Cars at CMS: Cohort A & B = Gymnasium Driveway at 8:15AM
  • Cars at CHS: Cohort A & B = Gymnasium Driveway at 8:30AM

Pick-Up:

  • Bus pick-up will be at 12:45PM for CHS (from April 5 through April break) and 2:40PM for CMS, with CHS joining this 2:40PM dismissal on April 26. All bus pick-ups will take place in the middle school driveway.
  • Cars at CHS: Cohort A & B = Gymnasium Driveway
  • Cars at CMS: Cohort A & B = Gymnasium Driveway

Please note, the middle school driveway will be reserved for bus drop-off and pick-up only. All vehicles must drop-off and pick-up in the high school / gymnasium driveway.

We are excited to reunite the cohorts tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who collaborated to make this a reality for our students.

Sincerely,
