Change in Learning Models Due to Inclement Weather, 2/1/2021

Good Evening Cohasset Families,

This is Superintendent, Dr. Patrick Sullivan, with an announcement regarding our learning models for tomorrow, Monday, February 1, 2021, due to the forecasted inclement weather. Due to the anticipated intensity of the storm between 2:00PM and 4:00PM, which is during our scheduled dismissal times, Cohasset Middle and High School will be full-remote tomorrow, and Joseph Osgood Elementary School and Deer Hill Elementary School will be observing a half-day dismissal time with dismissal taking place at 12:05 at Deer Hill and 12:10 at Joseph Osgood. Lunch will not be served tomorrow at either elementary school. Start time will follow our usual schedule at the elementary schools. All after school activities are canceled for tomorrow.

This decision is being made in an abundance of caution after consulting emergency safety officials. It also keeps our young drivers off the roads during the height of the snow and allows us to facilitate the valuable in-person learning safely in our elementary schools. Middle and High School teachers will be communicating regarding schedules through Google Classroom. Our Central Offices will be closing at 12:20PM. APlease stay safe in the storm.

Sincerely,

Patrick Sullivan, Ed.D.

Superintendent
