Resources for Regarding Talking to Children about Violence Portrayed in the Media

The events of this week that took place at our Nation’s Capitol Building are disturbing, and the images projected in the media are difficult for our children to process. Our words and actions certainly matter in dealing with this difficult time; however, it is understandable that we may not readily have the words to help with the many emotions our children will be facing, as we ourselves process the happenings.
