In the spring of 2017, Cohasset Middle-High School administered an internally developed health and wellness survey to all students.  Notice was given to parents explaining opt-out procedures and access to survey questions; students completed the survey on a voluntary basis; and survey answers were submitted simultaneously to enhance authenticity.  Our community presentation was made at a School Committee meeting this summer, has been shared with Safe Harbor Coalition to further its work; has been a focal point of faculty meetings around student wellness; and was discussed at building PSO meetings in the spring.  The executive summary of that data is included.

The survey results have already contributed to curriculum enhancements, a redesign of our Peer Leader program, and supports for parents being added to our Guidance page. A school climate survey will follow this year, and will provide us with additional data to support student learning and social-emotional well-being.
