I started at Cohasset in 2013. I am excited to return for my 5th year here. Cohasset is a supportive environment for students. I have been teaching chemistry, physics, math and other subjects at the high school level since 1998.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE – My teaching began as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Namibia where I taught Physical Science and Math on the "Diamond Coast" in the town of Luderitz. I taught chemistry, physics, math and technology courses for about 10 years at Wahconah Regional High School in Berkshire County . During this time I also taught math courses at Berkshire Community College. My wife and I have also worked at international schools in Botswana and Kuwait.
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE – Prior to entering education I worked in the paper industry with Crane and Co. Inc. sole manufacturer of US currency paper. I was fortunate to have a part in the development of security papers for the Treasury.
ACTIVITIES AND INTERESTS – Growing up in Massachusetts as part of an active family I have enjoyed many outdoor recreational sports and activities. I also enjoy traveling and have had the opportunity to experience many parts of the world.
AND NOW IN COHASSET – The opportunity to help the students in Cohasset build their confidence, study skills and knowledge in the sciences is exciting and important. I have enjoyed getting to know the community of students and families. I have always been enthusiastic about science and I am certain this will influence the students in a positive way.
I hope to see you around town.
