My name is Mr. McCabe, and I am an English teacher at Cohasset High School in Cohasset, MA. I have been a teacher in Cohasset for nine years, in Sofia, Bulgaria for two years (a private English-speaking school with students from over thirty countries), and in Uxbridge, MA (7th grade) for four years. I also serve as the debate coach and student newspaper advisor in Cohasset. I love teaching; I love facilitating a classroom of learners; I detest grading, but I have yet to figure out a way to do without it.
I have been married for eleven years; Mrs. McCabe is a school psychologist, so we have the wonderful benefit of having vacations together, which we love spending with our three children, Finn, Liam (twins) and Fiona. I love watching my children grow, spending time with my wife, brothers, and parents, reading, writing, engaging in theological or philosophical discussions, watching films, traveling, hiking, going to the beach, fiddling with the banjo, sitting in Barnes and Noble, following the Patriots, and playing the occasional Xbox game, which, sadly, only happens about once a year.
