I'm so excited about our new flipgrid account. What a wonderful way for us all to keep connected! If you haven't already, go to flipgrid.com and click on Getting Started: Students. You'll be asked to enter a flipcode - the unique code for our class is holland9099. As of today (3/23), we have two "Topics", but that will change. Be sure you look for the correct topic to respond to. Can't wait to see your videos!

Dear Parents and Students,
I wanted to let all of you know that I am thinking of you and hoping that everyone is staying healthy and safe. If you need to get in touch with me, I will be "working from home" and checking emails daily. Don't hesitate to reach out to me, I'll try my best to answer questions you may have. In the meantime, if you are looking for looking for some educational activities, please click on Classroom Resources. Please note that these activites are optional and will not be graded. Be sure to get outside and enjoy some fresh air and sunshine!
What a treat to start our week cuddling up with our four-legged guests to enjoy a good book! To see more photographs, visit our Photo Gallery!
What a very special morning we had in Room 136! It was so lovely to meet so many grandparents and special friends and to hear about what school was like when they were in 3rd Grade. I will upload a few photos that I was able to grab as our guests were leaving to our Photo Gallery. I apologize if I missed anybody! I also want to thank our volunteers who donated baked goods, or coffee, or came in to clean up: Liz Iandoli, Kelly Jo Sunday, Tanya Buchanan, Allison Doherty, and Alison Bryan! I can't thank you all enough for making the reception afterwards so special! (And, the staff is thoroughly enjoying the leftovers).
Be sure to visit the classroom resources page and click on the words "Sea Turtle Research". Mrs. O'Brien has created a Custom Search which will connect you to safe and informative websites about SeaTurles. :) Mrs. Holland
