Technology Policies
Technology Guides and Policies
This Technology Acceptable Use Policy for the Cohasset Public Schools (CPS) is enacted by the School Committee to provide the parents, students and staff of the Cohasset School Community with a statement of purpose and explanation of the use of technology within the Cohasset learning community.
This policy is reinforced by practice, acceptable use standards and is required to be read before accessing the technology devices, digital resources and network infrastructure of the Cohasset Public Schools.
Because information technology is constantly changing, not all circumstances can be anticipated or addressed in this policy. All Users are expected to understand and comply with both the letter and spirit of this policy and show good judgment in their use of these resources.

Google Workspace for Education
At Cohasset Public Schools, we use Google Workspace for Education, and we are seeking your permission to provide and manage a Google Workspace for Education account for your child. Google Workspace for Education is a set of education productivity tools from Google including Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Classroom, and more used by tens of millions of students and teachers around the world. At CPS, students will use their Google Workspace for Education accounts to complete assignments, communicate with their teachers, sign into their Chromebooks, and learn 21st century digital citizenship skills.
