Software & Digital Tools
Cohasset Public Schools uses a variety of digital tools and apps to support classroom instruction — from Canva for Education to Kahoot!, Nearpod, Diffit, and Khan Academy. Before any tool is approved for classroom use, the district reviews it through the Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC), a national collaborative that helps schools negotiate formal data privacy agreements (DPAs) with software vendors.
Each agreement specifies what student data a vendor can collect, how that data may be used, and how it must be protected, in compliance with student privacy laws.
Use the link below to see the full, up-to-date list of digital tools approved for use in our schools. For each tool, you can view:
- Approval status (some tools carry specific usage restrictions, noted in the listing)
- Grade levels and subject areas where applicable Agreement dates and expiration
- Signed privacy agreements and data-handling addenda (PDF links)
