Cohasset Business Office
The Business Office is responsible for all the financial operations of the district including development of the budget, in year moniotring of expenditure, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll. The business office also oversees the district transportation and food service departments.
The Finance and Operations Department, under the guidance of the School Superintendent, and School Committee is responsible for all non-instructional components of the district, including but not limited to:
- Financial Planning and Budgeting
- Payroll
- Accounts Receivable and Payable
- Purchasing and Supply Management
- Transportation
- School operations and grants
- Operations and Maintenance of School Buildings
- Food service Operations
In addition to managing the day-to-day operations of the school department, the district employs over 350 people, transports over hundreds of students to school each day, and safely maintains 3 school buildings with over 1,400 students currently enrolled.
Capital Projects

Food Service
The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. The District Director of Food Services is Vinnie Cordon and more information on the program (and menus!) are available here.

Transportation
