I grew up in a small town in Upstate NY, the oldest of four children.  After graduating from high school, I went to the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA.  My freshman year I enrolled in an introductory physics course with Professor Ross and thought it was the coolest class ever.  By sophomore year I had decided to become a physics major.  Junior year I was introduced to another great love of my life, Ted, and we got married six years later.  

During my four years at Holy Cross, I enjoyed playing on the field hockey team and tutoring students in physics.  I discovered I really liked explaining physics concepts to others and I decided to become a teacher after I graduated.  This is my fourth year at CHS, my fifteenth overall, and I still love what I do. Ted and I live in Cohasset with our three kids, Mac, Maeve, and Molly.
