Transportation 2024-2025 School Year

  • Cohasset Public Schools is now accepting bus registrations through MySchoolBucks.  If you do not have a MySchoolBucks account, you can create one when you click on the link below.

    BUS REGISTRATION FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR HAS OPENED - Registration is required for all students taking the bus regardless of whether they are a non-fee or fee to ride.

    Effective for the 2024-2025 school year, Cohasset Public Schools will continue to administer a fee-based transportation program. The application fee applies to students in Grades K-6 who reside less than or equal to 2 miles from their designated school, and all students in Grades 7-12.

    If you live within 2 miles of the school, transportation will be $350 per student, with a family cap of $590. If received by June 30th, we can guarantee a seat. A waitlist will be started once a bus has reached its capacity.

    After June 30th, there will be an additional $50.00 late charge.

    Online payment is available through MySchoolBucks.  Please visit our Fees and Payment side tab for more information on registering and paying online. You can also complete the FY25 Transportation Registration Form and mail it with your payment, if applicable, to: Cohasset Public Schools, Transportation Department at: 143 Pond Street, Cohasset, MA 02025

    Bus routes and staffing will be planned based on applications and payments received by June 30th. Applications and payments received after June 30th will be processed based on the availability of space on a bus and if there is an existing stop already on the route. The Transportation Department cannot guarantee transportation for your student(s) if the application is received after June 30th, 2024.

    BUS PASSES: Bus passes will be available on the Aspen Portal on or before August 14th, 2024.

    All students must have their pass with them daily. No student will be allowed to board a bus without a valid bus pass.

    BUS ROUTES: Bus routes will be posted on the Cohasset Schools website at: Cohasset Public Schools - Transportation Department on or before August 14th.

    TRANSPORTATION FEE WAIVER: Based upon maximum income thresholds, If you qualify for free and reduced lunch,  you may qualify for a transportation fee waiver. Please complete the Free and Reduced Lunch Application . You must also provide verification of income. Please return your waiver form directly to the Director of Food Services at: 143 Pond Street, Cohasset, MA 02025.

    PLEASE NOTE: It is possible that if you register AFTER SEPTEMBER 1ST, your registration will not be processed prior to the start of school.  Please DO NOT have your student attempt to board the bus without a pass or seat assignment. You MUST wait until you have your bus pass before you can board the bus.

    SAFETY WAIVERS may be granted for grades 6 and below ONLY unless there are extenuating circumstances.   If you wish to apply for a safety waiver, please complete the Google form below.
