Adjustment Counseling Services

  • Adjustment counselors serve as liaisons between home, school, local social service agencies or outside therapists. Through individual consultation, small group workshops, and classroom visits our adjustment counselors help students articulate strategies to manage anxiety, stressors and relationships.

At Cohasset High School, Leanne McCarthy is a resource to help students with transitions, emotional struggles, peer interpersonal difficulties and academic stressors. Leanne works with students both individually and in small groups. Our focus is to help support all students' social emotional needs while they are here at school. Additionally, she provides referrals and support in accessing community counselors and therapists.
